​​Hi, I'm Elana, a native New Yorker setting roots in Raleigh, NC with my husband Landon and our rescue dog Fergus. My love for plants blossomed during the pandemic when my career as a professional opera singer paused, giving me the time to dive into a new passion. What started as a playful social media page in 2021, @TheHouseplantDiva quickly grew into something more. After working in various types of roles—plant leasing, social media/marketing, retail management—I gained a well-rounded experience in the plant industry. In 2024, it was time to take everything I've learned over the past few years and turn it into my own business. And that's how The Houseplant Diva, LLC was formed!

My mission is to make houseplant ownership accessible and enjoyable for everyone, no matter your skill level. Whether you're a beginner who struggles to keep plants alive or a seasoned plant parent looking for something new, I'm here to help. I offer personalized home consultations, private events, workshops, and classes, all designed to be educational and fun. I also create custom tropical arrangements, handmade moss art, and host houseplant pop-ups. I even operate a small-scale production greenhouse where I grow and sell rare plants.
